The Local Market is a Self-supporting community farmers market and operates without any public funds whatsoever, as we pay for all services provided. The Local Market is held on private grounds, giving it the ability to provide a sensible range of locally grown Florida products and respond quickly to the needs of our community.

Because this community farmer's market is a for-profit endeavor, all profits collected from each Market will go right back into the market itself. Any additional funds collected over the expansion of the market will be used as a means to educate our community about responsible farming practices, the importance of local agriculture, and youth outreach programs.

We are working diligently to provide a Nutrition Program via The Local Market which will provide WIC participants with coupons to purchase locally grown Florida fruits and vegetables. This produce can be purchased at authorized farmers markets from April 1 to October 8.
